Mr.V's favorite
Here are couple of stories from Mr V.
One of the dishes I really miss is from my grandma. So she used to make a special omlette. The way she used to make it is, in the olden days used to have this Stone grinder on which you grind with your your hands so she would grind red chili cooked rice with sea salt and she will make it as a paste but like a kind of a crush thing on and on it and all that then she would mix it like with one or two eggs with this particular mashed up ingredients and then make homemade. Mmm, it is so delicious. No matter how many times I try to recreate that it doesn't come close to the taste she made so that's one recipe or one dish that I still pictures like now but it's not possible for whatever reason but that is something out of the world.
Sambar was also made kind of a little different way so the way she does it like all the vegetables whatever is needed that would be boiling with the turmeric and salt and all that but then put a little bit of curry leaves in hot oil and then she would put cilantro and probably a little bit of coriander seeds then she will just shallow fry and add coconut oil mostly and on top of that once it's kind of a little bit cooked, and make sure it's right. I checked with my mom also but looks like she also cannot remember.
So those are the two things that I want to share with you and good luck with your project.
