Mr S Uncles favorite foods

I talked to Mr.S uncle. There were several trees of Jamun. Mr. S Uncle remembers the trees next to his school. The trees were medicinal and very good for diabetes. In the house they used to live in Kakinada they had mango and amla trees. There were big palm trees where the dark fruit was on it and the fruit was burnt. There were trees where the brothers were playing and this story is from the time he was born. His elder brothers were playing in a river. They thought a palm fruit fell in and they first didn't notice. Then they thought of picking up the fruit and it wasn't palm fruit but their youngest brother. They would have lost his brother that day, if they didn't think about picking up fruit. He said, he remembers this story all the time, whenever someone mentions fruit.

Custard apple is one of the fruits he enjoyed a lot as well. Below is a picture of that. He would enjoy the mango in its season as well.

Many of his stories actually involved a lot of fruits and he happily chatted with me about all those.

He remembered a lane in which they stayed, in my grandma's hometown and he told me about the schools he went to and his teachers and all.

Fruits were a big part of his childhood memories.

Here is a picture of custard apple.

He said he loved Jamuns also. I thought it is gulab jamun, sweet, but jamun is a fruit.
